Did you know that Vancouver has a new market? It is called the Urban Grower's Market. Featuring items and produce from local gardeners and crafters.
From their site:
"Urban Growers Market is a new model for a farmers market which will focus more on the backyard and small plot farmer. Our mission is to create an even smaller circle for local commerce and food production, our focus is on sustainability, education and food safety. In addition to produce we will also feature local crafters, community education booths, music, a food court and performances and demo's. "
August 12th is the next market. Come and take a look! Enjoy dinner from one of the local vendors and music.
It will be held from 4-8pm at 2315 Main st. Vancouver Wa. 98660 Next to One World Merchants.
